first habitatThis habitat has an abundance of trees, logs, and plants. One plant, in particular, is the five-leafed clover. These plants grow throughout Flat Rock Nature Center, which is another one of our ecosystems. Birds, such as the American Robin and Goldfinch, also make nests in these trees. We also found a few spiders while walking through the forest. We discovered their webs, which were hanging from tree to tree.

second habitatThis habitat consists of a small stream. The stream provides a nice living environment for these ducks because it provides them with a large swimming area. In addition, they have a sufficient amount of water and food supply. They can drink water and eat aquatic plants from the little body of water.

third habitatThe last habitat contains trees as well. There is one tree in particular and it can be seen bending over, making it seem like it is an archway. There a spider dangled from its spiderweb - it had formed from one side of the tree to the other. A chipmunk was also in the same area scurrying around.
